WICKED 3/4" Copper Tube Pipe Cleaning Brush

Do not use the blue cleaner with an impact driver - use it only with a drill. The body is aluminum - an impact driver will tear it up. Works great with a drill. Has a replaceable brush - very nice feature.

Copper working plumber needs this

Sizes are limited to 3/4” and 1/2” but this little tool on a 1/4” chuck drill shaved 3-4 hours off of a 12 hour copper job. Sand clothing is needed in some respect like for chiggers on the pipe wall like foundry markings or scratches. Best for new copper pipe. Make sure to buy replacements strips and have some ring snap pliers. Highly recommend. I call it the arthritis saver.

Work Great

I'm not a pro plumber, but a do all my household needs myself guy. I'd hadda a 1/2" copper pipe comin outa my foundation in the garage to feed an external hose faucet. Welp, it was maybe an inch away from the wall, and painted, so after installing it in my drill it only took maybe 5 seconds,on low speed, to clean the pipe really,really clean enough to install a new shark bite valve. NO leakage. Also purchased the 3/4 size for those "just in case but ready for it jobs" very happy, seems it should last for sometime. Very happy with my purchase!

Better than plastic

Definitely better than the mi\\ ro$€ plastic counter parts. Frustrated that the 3/4” version keeps coming off the socket driver, pleased that it cleans. Also, how much money can I save if I don’t buy the sweet wooden box? It’s cool and all, but unnecessary and immediately given away (because it’s absurd taking it into jobs- ever been on a worksite?)

These work just fine on metric (the proper way to measure anything) pipe.

Took the risk as I’ve gone through a few plastic ones.

Only used for a few weeks so I cannot attest to the longevity of the brushes or how easy it is to get hold of them. But very easy to swap out if needed

Saw these on Instagram and decided to try them out. Works much better than expected. Cleans the pipe in about 2-3 seconds tops. Much faster than using sandpaper or cloth by hand. Definitely read the directions before use. Only use with drill in clockwise motion.

Prepping short pipe (3-4 inches) is no t re comme nded by the manu facture r, but possible if you wear work gloves with rubber- like grip.

Unlike so me of the other reviewers, I like the box it come s in. If you ’re the type of person who’s orga nized and l ikes to take care of your tools , you’ ll like th e box and ap precia te the fact that all 3 parts ar e toget her when it in use, and easy to find. I’m sure some of these anti wooden box people are the same tradesmen who operate out of a messy work vans.
